Anxiety Management - Alcohol
In spite of an initial feeling of relief, alcohol actually aggravates anxiety and can
trigger panic attacks. The physiological effect has to do with alcohol depressing
the central nervous system.

If you're not hooked, then it might be better not to drink. If you are hooked, can
ready for that yet, then you might try to reduce the alcohol intake. Perhaps you
could substitute an activity for an hour or so.
